A new Board of Directors of the Competition Authority
The minister of Industry and Commerce, Ms Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, has appointed a new Board of Directors of the Competition Authority for a term of four years. Ms Kristín Haraldsdóttir, Director of the Institute on Natural Resources Law, Reykjavik University School of Law, is the new chairman of the Board. In addition Mr Elmar Hallgríms Hallgrímsson, Lecturer at the University of Iceland and Ms Guðrún Ragnarsdóttir, CEO at the Icelandic Student Loan Fund, are members of the Board. Mr Eyvindur Grétar Gunnarsson, Ms Valgerður Rún Benediktsdóttir and Mr Runólfur Þór Sanders are alternates.
