The Icelandic Competition Authority opinion in employment agency and employment ads
ICA has directed it to the Directorate of Labour to:
- Directorate of Labour should reveal more notably links to WebPages of independent employment agencies where vacancies are offered. With that matter Directorate of Labour will direct people searching for jobs more efficiently to independent employment agencies for information about vacancies and consultant regarding jobs.
- Directorate of Labour should have cooperation with independent employment agencies about services, for example by sharing their registrations- and result systems. This can mean supervision with unemployed people and their application process or analyses in demands of employer to candidates and assessment in what candidates fulfil requirements.
