  The Competition Authority has reviewed the merger of Skipti hf. and Síminn hf. (telecommunication company). Skipti hf. is the parent company of Síminn hf. and Míla ehf. With the merger of Skipti hf. and Síminn hf. there will be changes to the corporation which calls for amendments to decision no. 6/2013. Instead of Síminn hf. and Mila ehf. being affiliates under the parent company Skipti hf., Mila ehf. now becomes a subsidiary of Síminn hf. For this reason, it is necessary to amend the previous decision and conditions. The Competition Authority has decided to authorise the incorporation with extensive conditions.
