  The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has reviewed a merger between Kvos ehf. and Kristinn ehf. The merger came about with Kristinn's acquisition of Kvos. Kvos owns a dominant part in Oddi printing company and Guðbjörg M. Matthíasardóttir owns Kristinn and a 29,8% part in Árvakur operates a printing undertaking, Landsprent ehf.

  With reference to all of the above conditions were imposed in order to limit the harming effects of the merger on competition, including an agreement that the management of the printing operations are kept entierly seperate and other extensive limitations.
