  The Icelandic Competition Authority made a settlement with Kópavogsbær, a municipality in the capital area, concerning the renting out of housing to privately run fitness centers. The swimming pools are subsidised by the municipality. The fitness centers have rented housing with accompanying services in connection with the swimming pools.
