The Competition Authority has examined the merger of REA ehf., The parent company of Airport Associates, and Suðurflug ehf. Airport Associates is a ground handling provider at Keflavik Airport which mainly services passenger flights. Suðurflug is ground handling provider that also operates at Keflavik Airport and mainly services other flights than passenger flights, such as private airplanes.
