Merger of Laxamýri ehf. and Exeterhouse ehf

The Icelandic Competition Authority authorized the acquisition of Laxamýri ehf. by Exeterhouse ehf., Laxamýri already holds 50% of the shares in Exeterhouse. This is a merger where the companies operate mainly in different fields. The Icelandic Competition Authority did not consider it necessary to intervene or further investigate and closed the case in the first phase.
