Exemption granted due to the impact of COVID-19 on companies operating scheduled bus routes to and from Keflavik Airport

In this decision Kynnisferðir and Airport Direct are granted an exemption to cooperate on the scheduled route between Keflavik Airport and the capital area. The exemption is intended to enable the companies to respond to the unprecedented situation caused by the pandemic caused by COVID-19. As stated in the decision, the transport of passengers to and from Keflavík Airport is an extremely important factor in transport to and from the country and therefore has significance in the reconstruction of tourism in Iceland when the current state of COVID-19 is over.
