Changing conditions because of Síminn's ownership of Skjárinn - Cancellation of Decision no. 10/2005

The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has reviewed the request for cancellation of Decision no. 10/2005, The Merger of Landssími Íslands hf. and Íslenska sjónvarpsfélagið hf. In the new decision the undertakings are allowed to combine their operations. The ICA and the merging parties have agreed upon extensive conditions to counteract the possible distort of competition in the markets for television distribution and subscription television.
