Merger og SÍA IV slhf., Stefnir hf. and Internet á Íslandi ehf

ICA approved the companies’ merger as Internet á Íslandi ehf. ISNIC operates the Icelandic country-code top-Level domain .is and is in the market for the local country domain. Stefnir and SÍA are not in the same market. It is therefore a conglomerate merger. The parties’ amended and shortened non-compete clauses from five years to two. ICA concluded that the merger did not strengthen a dominant position or significantly impede competition in any other way.
