Alfa Framtak‘s takeover bid on Origo

A decision was taken in regards to the takeover bid of Alfa Framtak on Origo. The activities of the merging parties do not overlap in such a way that there was a reason for intervention.

The markets of the case were several, e.g. market for IT services.

After investigation it was concluded that there was no reason for intervention, as that a possible merger would not have the effect of creating or strengthening a dominant market position, or otherwise distorting competition in a significant way. For that reason, it was the conclusion of ICA that there were no grounds for taking action regarding this case on the basis of Article 17. c of the Competition Act
