Nesnúpur ehf. purchased all stock in Varmi og vélaverk hf. and therefore, according to the Competition Act, a merger took place. As the goods and services offered by the undertakings connected to the merger are insignificantly homogenous it was the assessment of the ICA that there was not a need for the ICA to take action on account of the aforementioned merger.
