Request for exemption from the competition act by insurance companies to operate the CASBAS damage evaluation system

The Competition Authority has granted, with conditions, four insurance companies as well as International Motor Insurance in Iceland, exemption from the prohibitionary rules of the Competition Act to operate a so-called CABAS system, to evaluate damages occurred in car accidents.
