The merger of Olíuverzlun Íslands hf., Samherji hf. and FISK-Seafood ehf.

The merger of Olíuverzlun Íslands hf. (Olís), Samherji hf. (Samherji) and FISK-Seafood ehf. (FISK) includes the participation of the two latter undertakings in the refinancing of Olís. Each of the undertakings purchase 37,5% of shares in Olís and thereby gain shared control of Olís. After its investigation it is the ICA's assessment that the merger will affect competition in the market so conditions were imposed in order to limit the harming effects of the merger on competition. All parties have agreed to the terms of the decision.
