Merger of Síminn hf. and Noona Iceland ehf

The markets affected are booking services (calendar services), marketplaces and retail markets for various telecommunications, mainly business to business. Síminn and Noona operate in different but conneted markets and the merger was therefore not a horizontal merger. The merger investigation inter alia concerned potential foreclosure due to bundling and tying. The case was concluded without intervention and the merger approved as the case documents did not show a likely and siginificant impedement to competition.
