Merger of Olíuverzlun Íslands ehf. and Mjöll-Frigg ehf.

The Icelandic Competition Authority investigated the purchase Olíuverzlun Íslands ehf. of Mjöll-Frigg ehf. Both parties are active in the market for importing, producing and sale on cleaning products. The investigation of the case revealed that the merger, without conditions, would be likely to harm competition significantly. Therefore the investigation concluded with the signing of a Settlements between the ICA and the merger parties.
