Merger of Innnes ehf. and Arka Heilsuvörur ehf

The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has had under investigation the merger between Innnes ehf. and Arka Heilsuvörur ehf. After the investigation, it is ICA‘s assessment that there is no reason to believe that the merger that results from this acquisition will have any undesirable effects on competition in the market. Therefore, there is no reason to intervene in this merger on the basis of Article 17 c of the Icelandic Competition Act no. 44/2005.
