Merger of Eignarhaldsfélagið Kolka ehf. and Huppuís ehf

The Competition Authority examined the merger of Eignarhaldsfélagið Kolka ehf. and Huppuís ehf. Kolka is a holding company that holds shares in the ice cream producer Emmessís and the wholesale undertakings Nathan Olsen and Ekran. Huppuís runs five ice cream shops under the same name.

Following the investigation of the case, the Authority concluded that there was no reason to intervene in the merger.
