Merger of Bergur-Huginn ehf. (Síldarvinnslan hf.) and Bergur ehf

Bergur-Huginn is owned by Síldarvinnslan hf. a large undertaking in the fisheries industry. ICA did not consider it necessary to intervene because of the merger. However, in the case there were indications that Samherji hf. and Gjögur hf. competitors of Síldarvinnslan might have control over Síldarvinnslan. That possible control would be dealt with in a separate case.
