Complaint regarding an alleged abuse of a dominant position by 365 miðlar ehf.

The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has issued decision no. 16/2013, Complaint regarding an alleged abuse of a dominant position by 365 miðlar ehf. A complaint was made by Myllusetur ehf. which publishes Viðskiptabaðið (buisness news paper) regarding abuse of dominance in the market for newspaper advertising by 365 miðlar ehf. After its investigation it is the ICA's assessment that there is no indication of abuse of dominance in this field and therefore no reason to intervene.
