  The Icelandic Competition Authority assessed the acquisition by Samhentir Kassagerð hf. of all shares in Plastco ehf. The Authority found no evidence that the merger would create or strengthen a dominant position or significantly impede competition. Based on available data and input from market participants, the case was closed without intervention.
