  The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has reviewed a merger between Kvos ehf. and Plastprent ehf. Kvos ehf. purchased all stock in Plastprent ehf. from Framtakssjóður Íslands slhf. The undertakings operate in the market for packaging and printing materials. The merger will lead to some concentration in the market. After its investigation it is the ICA's assessment that the merger is considered liable to cause appreciable harm to competition in other ways. With reference to all of the above conditions were imposed in order to limit the harming effects of the merger on competition and to secure fair competition in the market.
