    The Icelandic Competition Authority (ICA) has reviewed the acquisition of Zebra Lux Holding S.á.r.l. of stock in Zebra A/S. Zebra association is the parent company of Tiger stores which are now operated in 16 countries of Europe. Zebra Lux Holding is owned by EQT VI Limited which is a fund that was founded in 2011 and mainly invests in Northern Europe. Tiger stores are retailers, selling a viriaty of products including consumables to individuals.

    After the ICA's investigation it has concluded that the merger is not considered liable to cause appreciable harm to competition. Therefore, there is no reason to intervene in this merger on the basis of Article 17 c of the Icelandic Competition Act no. 44/2005.
