Strategy

ICA_strategic_goals

The Competition Authority has established a strategy for its operations. The strategy is based on the concepts of performance management. This means that the Competition Authority establishes targets and measurable performance criteria, which the Authority intends to abide by. The plan is to review the strategy, targets and performance criteria on a regular basis in the light of priorities at any time and experience.

In the attached strategy map the Competition Authority lays down a strategy resting on four basic pillars: results, internal processes, human resources and finances. This strategy is then further elaborated and measurable criteria established in order to indicate more clearly the direction to be taken. The strategy forms a part of the Authority's internal organisation and is subjected to regular review.
