Acquisition of Hornsteinn ehf. on BM Vallá ehf., Björgun ehf. and Sementsverksmjðjan ehf (all construction materials companies)

Hornsteinn ehf. is now the majority owner of BM Vallá ehf., Björgun ehf. and Sementsverksmiðjan ehf. and possesses the majority of votes in these undertakings. In light of possible obstructions to competition that could possibly cause, the merging companies and the ICA have reached a settlement intended to minimize the risks of such obstructions.
