Sjávargrund ehf. acquisition of all shares in Tandur hf.

The Competition Authority in Iceland has examined the acquisition of Sjávargrund ehf. of all shares in Tandur hf. Tandur hf. imports, produces, sell and distributes hygiene products in Iceland. The merging companies operate in unrelated markets and the merger does not effect the market share or concentration ratios in the relevant markets. The Competition Authority in Iceland came to the conclusion that there is no reason to interfere in this  merger on the basis of  Article 17 of the Competition Act.
